We had a great 2016.  We closed on our house in July 2016 and completely moving in and making it our own.

We have spent time with family as well.

Juliette’s 3th Birthday 2017-

We also announced the we are expecting our first child in July of 2017.  We are very excited to introduce our new bundle of energy.  More posts and picture to come as we continue.

It has been an exciting June.
First we put in an offer on a house in Bethel Park PA and it was accepted. We close at the end of July. We hope to be completely moved in by our 1 year anniversary! The new house will cut our work commutes from a hour to about 30 minutes!!

Second, with help from the Jr. Axelrod’s we had a surprise 40th Anniversary party for my parents. We had over 60 people in attendance. It was a huge success and a big surprise. Thank you for coming out!

Finally its the summer so we enjoyed several Pirate games. The team is not doing well but we are still supporting them. We did get a home run ball that Meredith caught bare handed!!

Despite the really cold weather (snow and hail) this weekend, we got some gardening done.

We also started our large pot with basil and cilantro. The other plant is a strawberry from last year!

And the vegetable garden also was started.  The cabbage went in the ground.  Not pictured the carrots we planted.

Finally we planted some plants in pots to go in the ground later.

Clockwise in the small container is peas, cucumber, peppers and lettuce. Then watermelon and cantaloupe in the big black containers. On the other side is another small container of peas. In the pink containers is another cabbage, and peppers (one is snack size and one full sized pepper).

Hopefully we will be eating well on our garden this year!!

We went up to the Steinhagen Estates for mothers day to clean it up a little. Steinhagen Estates sits on about an acre of land near Tionesta PA about 3 hours north of Pittsburgh.

We spent time cleaning up leaves and trimming trees.  It was an exciting day with beautiful weather!

We also delivered our Mothers Day present to Mom Steinhagen.  It is stained a beautiful cherry color.
