How we met- Tom’s side
This was taken at Mount Washington looking over Pittsburgh PA.
On 06/14/2012, while surfing match.com, I came upon Meredith’s profile. To show I was interested, I “winked” at her. She responded with an odd question, “Olympic snowball fight or Olympic frisbee golf?” We both agreed snowball fight.After many emails/telephone conversations, we decided to meet at a local DQ. Trying to make a good first impression, I bought her flowers. When she saw the flowers, she said no one had ever bought her flowers.

This was taken recently when we went to Lake Erie PA in 2014.
It was a rainy Saturday. We were planning on going to Kennywood as a couple to have fun together. The rain prevented us from going to Kennywood so instead we did our normal Saturday chores like grocery shopping. Tommy did not want to make food so he convinced Meredith to go to Dairy Queen to get hot dogs. While at the grocery store we saw a penny on the ground and we picked it up. After Dairy Queen, Tommy said he had to tie his shoe. And he said “Did you make a wish on that penny? Did you wish for this?” and he pulled out the ring and said “Will you marry me?” In shock Meredith didn’t say anything for a minute or two and as we walked back to the truck Tommy put the ring on Meredith’s finger. It was perfect.
